Crazy Fresh Organic Bok Choy

Our organic vegetable section has a new addition, Baby Bok Choy. Bok choy has been cultivated for over 5000 years in China and other Asian countries and is a staple for many Asian dishes. Bok choy is considered to be a cruciferous vegetable and is a part of the cabbage family. There are many different types of bok choy and each type has its own taste, color, and size. Generally it has a mild flavor and is most commonly used for stir-fries, braising, and soups.

Bok choy is packed full of vitamin K, vitamin C, vitamin A, potassium, folate, vitamin B6, calcium, and manganese; it also good source of omega-3 fatty acids. Since it has such and abundance vitamins and minerals bok choy also offers many different health benefits. Two of the largest health benefits that bok choy offers is antioxidant and anti-Inflammatory benefits.
